Where you find yourself today.Aliandra itself is the capitol city of Eleasia, as far as most of the races are concerned. Though Aliandra has little to no sway over the Dragon, Maiyenin, and Amalayel races, Humans and those living in human cities are bound by the laws of the High Rule. Aliandra is a sprawling city with curling, interlacing streets that form the outline of a rose in full bloom, whose center houses the Palace of Aliandra, and the family of the High Rule. Guards perpetually walk the streets in enigmatically timed shifts, and generally in pairs, all to ensure the safety of Aliandra's citizens. Even in a world where a dark shadow seems to wait just around every corner, the heart of Eleasia beats strongly still. Every race embraces her beauty, and does everything in their power to keep it safe, at least, most of those who have chosen her as their new home have. Most of those who have sought her out through the generations have needed new lives, clean slates, and hope. They found them all in her open embrace. Not all are pleased with the way of the world, however, and though they enjoy living within her hallowed walls, they work to undermine her Mistress' authority. Their ultimate goal, however, is unknown, even to them. The higher in their underground ranks one goes, the more one is privileged to know, yet even the highest of their kind do not know the inner workings and desires of the Chaos Child. The Knights of Chaos struggle on, though, tilling their seeds with delicate precision, and infinite patience. In short, people are happy, and people are unhappy. People want to start new lives and leave behind the mistakes of the past. Some do wish to leave those mistakes behind merely to mask their plans for the future. Some wish to make up for their mistakes without the stigma that knowledge of those past discretions would create. Some of you who enter the city now are leaving behind all that you once knew. Some are returning from vacation, or business, or even adventure. Perhaps Aliandra is merely another step in your quest. Whatever your reasons, you stand at the crossroads of Destiny. Good or Evil, which shall it be? ------------------------------------------------ There are several other lands and kingdoms within Eleasia, but as it is a growing empire, each land must be populated, and from that population players chosen to act as rulers for the other kingdoms after they have proven their places within certain criterion. Until such time as there are enough players, and the right ones for the job, Aliandra itself will be the only city and countryside available for population.
